About
My current dissertation research centers on British and American periodicals from the 1890's. I am interested in the cultural dissemination of Aestheticism via artistic monthlies and their impact on late Victorian culture and aesthetic thought. I have worked for over two years at the Tulsa branch of the Modernist Journals Project (digitizing early 20th century periodicals). I also recently started a website devoted to the art, literature, and culture of the fin de siecle. I hope this will become a collaborative project, and look forward to hearing from others interested in sharing ideas, links, book reviews, short articles, conferences, etc.
